These words are taken from the auditor’s report in our latest, successful, Investor in People assessment

Since first being awarded the prestigious Investor in People standard in 1999, Denca Controls has grown substantially in terms not just of turnover but of the range of skills and services available to our clients.

We recognise that the quality of our customer service is foremost in everything that we do. We believe that to deliver the best customer service, the skills, abilities, motivation and happiness of every member of the Denca team is of vital importance.

In a further comment in her report, our IIP assessor noted:

“Operating in an era of sector skills shortages, Denca is
proud of its track record providing an abundance of
training opportunities as well as nurturing a culture
of encouragement and support to grow both staff confidence
and versatility. The benefits of this approach are
clearly recognised by the Denca management team”

“There is a clear and focussed approach which has continued
to result in many improvements throughout the organisation
and it is clear that Denca are committed to improving
the performance across all areas. This approach has ensured
that the company follows the principles required to run
a successful organisation.”

Denca has a long-standing commitment to invest in the development of skills and abilities across our team and the latest approval from Investors in People is a clear confirmation of our culture to encourage staff in as many positive ways as possible.

Valuable, Effective Apprenticeships

We are also immensely proud of the apprenticeship schemes we offers to young people. Denca has had 13 apprentices in total in recent years, many remain employed as valuable team members today. The process continues with currently 3 apprentices working in the company.
