Denca Bowling has been a long-standing annual trip for everyone in the team and 2023 was no different. At the end of June, we took to the Widnes Superbowl for some beers, burgers & bowling. By the looks of things, everyone had a great time. We all work hard. Consequently, we should get the opportunity to blow off some steam every now and again. Although it might sometimes feel forced or a pain to get involved, it’s worth it to see the enjoyment on everyone’s faces.
Every department had its feet on the lanes this year. As a result, it was heartwarming to see a good mix of everyone across the company involved in a common goal, to have a good time. Our Bowling Elite Champions this year were:
- Dave M – Highest Combined Score
- Tony B – Most Strikes
The people’s champion was Katie who made sure the “Gutter Ball” screen got the representation it deserved with a combined score of 36 over two games, which was equally impressive.
In conclusion, thanks go to Gill for organising the event, it’s always appreciated. Well done to our winners and thanks to everyone who attended. We hope you enjoyed yourself and we’ll see you again this time next year!
