Denca – Planning for real-world growth

Five years ago the Denca management team established clear and positive plans to grow the business.  These plans reflected Denca as it was in 2014. We had already built an enviable reputation in our field. Protecting this hard-won reputation to properly deliver high-quality, professional technical solutions whilst maintaining excellent service levels whilst working to all relevant health, safety and environmental standards was an essential part of our growth programme.

Before 2014, Denca reputation had been at the heart of our growth. All of our business was either repeat orders or came through personal recommendation. Even then, the business was growing but we recognised that as an effective business, we should be more pro-active. In practice, we were already fighting above our weight. Even as a smaller systems integrator, we offered a full range of design, build, installation and continuing support services from our own internal resources.

Whilst we set sights on a wider market, it was esential that we didn’t neglect our established customers. Retaining their business and holding on to their regular orders was a very important part of the plan!

Since their inception in 2014, our growth plans have worked, so much so that Denca is in the process of moving to new premises, expanding our available space by a factor of 4! We need this space for our growing team and the much larger workshop for our expanding Control Panel division. Helping deliver our customers’ own projects, and as a result, their own growth plans has delivered growth for Denca.

We plan to move in May. Our new home, on Hutchinson Street, Widnes, is located only a few yards away from our current site on Waterloo Road. Our new building has lain empty for some time necessitating renovation and upgrade works prior to the move. On a very practical note for those of you who have visited us, parking at Denca will also be a lot easier than it has been of late. We will have parking available at the front next to the main office entrance as well as inside the perimeter near the workshop main doors.
