As Denca continues to evolve into new growth strategies, we are pleased to announce, our founders (Alan Brennan and John Talbot) have today formally sold their shares in Denca to Axel Johnson International, a Swedish industrial group and part of the wider Axel Johnson Group. Axel Johnson International, have acquired 100% of the shareholding. The new owners will support us on our continued growth journey by providing resources and expertise where needed. Furthermore, the move reinforces and complements our commitment to delivering quality and value to our partners and customers.
Maintaining the Denca focus
We are now part of The Axel Johnson Group, a family owned business founded in 1873. Their headquarters are in Stockholm, Sweden. Our direct owner, Axel Johnson International (AJI) employs over 6700 people and operates in 36 countries around the world. The group is known for taking a long term approach with the companies they acquire. AJI want to build on the areas that have made us successful. Consequently, key focus remains on our strong customer relationships and our positive working methods.
Denca will be joining the Industrial Automation Business Group.
We had the pleasure of meeting the Industrial Automation Group Managing Director, Anton Kullh and the group’s Financial Director, Elin Larnesjö this week.
They showed genuine intrigue and excitement whilst meeting every one of us during their visit. We were thrilled to be able to welcome them into the world of Denca as they talked about the next exciting chapter for our business.
