Denca apprenticeships – Training the future

Apprenticeships at Denca

Denca has offered formal apprenticeships since 1999. Most of our successful apprentices stay with the company and enjoy a long-term career in our industry.   We offer apprenticeships in the following areas of Industrial Automation: –

  • Instrument Technician
  • Electrician
  • Panel Wireman

Denca apprentices learn practical skills which are underpinned with a formal technical qualification, which is completed on a day release basis at a local technical college.   These qualifications include HNC, ONC and various other vocational courses.   Our apprentices also complete their NVQs as part of the scheme.

Automation apprentices at Denca work alongside many world-leading brands as companies look to improve their factories and systems.   The automation sector offers many exciting opportunities to work in various sectors of industry. Typical factories we work with include car production, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, brewing and utilities as well as many others.

Denca apprenticeships vary in duration, dependent on the discipline. Typically they run for 2 – 4 years,

Denca recruits apprentices every year and the ongoing success of this scheme is very important to the continuing growth of our company so we look forward to welcoming many more young engineers in the future.
